Resolution 13-16: A Resolution to Make the Graduate
Studies Senator an Associate Position

WHEREAS, The current Graduate Senator works 9 hours during the work week; and

WHEREAS, This position could be sufficiently managed in 4 hours per week; and

WHEREAS, This would allow for monetary expenses to be used on other positions,
events, etc.; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Student Government of Wright State University here
assembled, that:

(1) Wright State Student Government should replace the Senator for
11
Graduate Studies with an Associate of Graduate Affairs; and
12
(2) This position will still work with all aspects of graduate students
13
including, but not limited to, academics, the graduate school, and
14
graduate student events; and
15
(3) This position will be supervised by the Director of Academic Affairs.
