Reason for this curriculum action To better align MCC’s HPC program with three other community colleges in the national consortium for High Performance Computing (HPC) in MCC’s National Science Foundation grant. The certificate is required to meet the expectations of the National Center for HPC. This center delivers metric information used in evaluation of Regional Education and Training Centers (RETCs). Number of certificate offerings is one of the metrics. MCC is a HPC RETC. 6.
