Curriculum.

Definition
Effective pedagogy means teacher actions promoting student learning. These
include but are not limited to those described in the New Zealand Curriculum:

connections to prior learning and experience, providing sufficient opportunities to
learn, and teaching as inquiry.

Evidence requirements
2.1
Learning sequences and teaching strategies in Social Sciences are planned
and implemented consistent with at least three examples of effective pedagogy
described in the New Zealand Curriculum.
2.2
Planning for learning sequences incorporates language strategies designed to
meet the language demands of Social Sciences in the New Zealand Curriculum.
