Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
An MoU has been established between the Hospitality Standards Institute and
Service Skills Australia. The MoU outlines moderation in New Zealand, the
accreditation of providers in New Zealand, and the provision for participation of the
New Zealand industry in the review of this standard.

Hygiene Regulations 1974, Food (Safety) Regulations 2002, Food Act 1981, Health
and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

before they can report credits from assessment against unit standards or deliver courses

NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
