Identify and describe the controls of a poultry products spiral freezer.

Performance criteria
1.1
The identification of the controls is consistent with the location and function of
the control.
1.2
The description of the control is consistent with the method of operation, and
function of the control.
1.3
The description is consistent with the safety requirements of the company
safety policies and procedures in relation to the control of the poultry products
spiral freezer.
1.4
The description is consistent with the company quality assurance policies and
procedures in relation to the control of the poultry products spiral freezer.
Element 2
Restart and shut down a poultry products spiral freezer.
Performance criteria
2.1
The poultry products spiral freezer is restarted and shut down in accordance
with the company operating procedures.
2.2
The poultry products spiral freezer is restarted and shut down in accordance
with the company safety policies and procedures.

Providers must be accredited by the Qualifications Authority, or an inter-institutional body
with delegated authority for quality assurance, before they can report credits from
assessment against unit standards or deliver courses of study leading to that assessment.
Industry Training Organisations must be accredited by the Qualifications Authority before
they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Accredited providers and Industry Training Organisations assessing against unit standards
must engage with the moderation system that applies to those standards.
