Purpose
This theory-based unit standard is for people who work in the
industrial textile fabrication industry. People credited with this
unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of: preparing
products for measuring and marking; measuring the fabric
and/or material; marking out material; and making templates.

Definition
Industry requirements refer to those practices and procedures commonly used as
standard procedures to produce items of acceptable merchantable quality in the
industrial textile fabrication industry.
