1
Work must be carried out in accordance with organisational requirements, licensing
requirements, legislative requirements, and industrial awards and agreements.

1.2.3 and 1.2.4, and subsequent amendments.

Evidence requirements
1.1
Workplace information is accessed to determine and confirm packing
requirements.
Range
requirements could include but are not limited to – wrapping,
placement, general packing advice, packaging consumables for
product type, product condition, codes, dates, weight settings.
1.2
Product is packed to meet customer and order specifications.
1.3
Product is packed in compliance with production requirements.
Range
requirements could include but are not limited to – pace work to
meet production requirements, complete relevant workplace
records, stack or place product, sort and collect waste for disposal,
maintain work area to meet housekeeping standard, operate basic
wrapping equipment.
Outcome 2
Demonstrate knowledge of manual packing requirements.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Packaging materials and consumables are identified in terms of suitability for
each product type.

The consequences of incorrect procedures or configuration in packaging and/or
wrapping and/or placement are identified.
