Animal product refers to any animal material that has been processed for the purpose of consumption by humans or animals. Official Assessors are ante-mortem examiners and post-mortem examiners appointed under Section 79 of the Animal Products Act 1999 to carry out animal material and animal product examinations. Examiners are ante-mortem examiners and post-mortem examiners. Outcome 2 Describe the purpose of a Risk Management Programme (RMP). Evidence requirements 2.1 Objective of the Animal Products Act 1999 is described. 2.2 The purpose of an RMP is defined. 2.3 Risk factors and hazards to product are identified. Range 2.4 risks to human health, risks to animal health, labelling, wholesomeness. The relationship between an RMP and the functions of examiners is explained.
