Classification Composites > Industrial Composites Available grade Achieved Explanatory notes 1 Competence must be demonstrated on a component that does not already have a work schedule and resourcing plan that the candidate is familiar with. The scope of this unit standard does not include plug and mould building. 2 Component size/complexity – this unit standard is expected to be generally used for simple components. The work schedule and resourcing plan applies only to the structure, resourcing and work packages. Systems are not included although time allowances may be made for their installation. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Produce a work schedule for a composite component project. Range may include but are not limited to – preparation of materials, mould prep, laminating of plies, finishing. Evidence requirements 1.1 Breakdown schedule of work required is developed and documented in accordance with, and by reference to, plans and specifications. Range 1.2 work packages, milestones, timeline. Processes required to do the work are developed and documented in accordance with plans and specifications.
