NZQA registered unit standard 7484 version 6 Page 1 of 3 Title Produce and deliver a multi-media presentation Level 4 Credits Purpose 5 People credited with this unit standard are able to: plan for a multi-media presentation; produce a presentation using multimedia equipment and processes; evaluate, and modify where necessary, the presentation; and deliver the multi-media presentation to an audience. Credit for this unit standard does not indicate workplace roleholder competence, but is a foundation standard contributing to the development of graphic design expertise. Classification Design > Generic Design Available grade Achieved Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Plan for a multi-media presentation. Evidence requirements 1.1 Multi-media tools, processes, and techniques are selected to meet the needs of the presentation plan. Range 1.2 may involve but is not limited to any combination of – still or animated images in 2D or 3D, sound editing, slide and photo editing, scanning, modifying, text manipulation. Presentation plan produced is suitable for the subject and audience, and meets the requirements of the brief. Outcome 2 Produce a presentation using multi-media equipment and processes. Evidence requirements 2.1 Multi-media equipment is set up in accordance with presentation plan and site practice. Outcome 3 Evaluate, and modify where necessary, the presentation. Evidence requirements 3.1 Presentation is evaluated against the requirements of the brief. 3.2 Modifications to the presentation are made, where necessary, to meet the requirements of the brief. Outcome 4 Deliver the multi-media presentation to an audience. Evidence requirements 4.1 Presentation is delivered to an audience in accordance with the presentation plan.
