Evidence requirements 1.1 Transducers are mounted according to manufacturer’s guidelines and industry practice, with regard to correct orientation and spacing for the application required. Outcome 2 Test transducers. Evidence requirements 2.1 Transducer test equipment is selected appropriate to the type of transducer. transducers – thermocouple, resistance temperature detector (RTD), pressure transmitter, proximity detector, level sensor; test equipment may include – multimeter, oscilloscope, manufacturers instruction, thermocouple simulator, resistance temperature detector (RTD) simulator, pressure calibrator.
