This unit standard has been developed for learning and assessment on-job.

Range
Electrical equipment may include but is not limited to – equipment, plant, or
machinery powered by electricity, and which periodically requires attention in the
form of inspection, adjustment, measurement, tuning, overhaul, component
replacement, lubrication, or cleaning, so that it may continue to operate safely and
efficiently, and in compliance with any legislative requirements.

before they can report credits from assessment against unit standards or deliver courses

Industry Training Organisations must be granted consent to assess against standards by
NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
