Range: 1.5 setup may include but is not limited to – tester assembly, tester guides, tester segments. Tester components removed are stored in accordance with worksite procedures. element 2 Test run an automated tester machine. performance criteria 2.1 Tester operation is explained in terms of method of operation and common problems detected by the tester. Range: common problems may include but are not limited to – holes in can body, misaligned end and body, faulty side seam. 2.2 Tester machine is test run in accordance with worksite procedures. 2.3 Tester machine adjustments are made until tester machine operates in accordance with worksite procedures. element 3 Perform quality control checks on the operation of an automated tester machine. Range: challenge tests. performance criteria 3.1 Quality control checks are performed and recorded in accordance with worksite procedures. 3.2 Quality control check results are explained in terms of relationship with tester machine settings, product specification tolerances, and variance trends.
