Study the text’s chapters on Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary/20th Century music. Study your notes on the aforementioned historical periods and on Medieval music. B. Study your tests and comparative chart on the above material. C. Study your notes from the historical videos. II. Literature A. For all the literature of this semester, be able to match the composer to their composition, the composer to the timeframe in which they composed, the composer to their nationality and the poet to the text. Be sure to study your composer paragraphs. B. Be prepared to know a general translation for foreign texts. C. Study all background material on the literature (especially any program notes written on the score). D. Study your composer paragraphs. III. Short Answer (Know the historical eras when appropriate.) VIII. Singing Test This will be an average of all the singing test scores from this year.
