* The Nutrition Science Degree is designed for students who wish to obtain greater depth in the physical and biological
sciences to prepare for additional education, such as graduate school, or professional programs. Most professional
schools prefer that required courses are taken at the home institution; therefore some will not accept science coursework
from community colleges. Students are encouraged to contact the graduate or professional school(s) to which they are
interested in applying to determine their policies before beginning college courses. If you are interested in the Nutrition
Science Degree Program at Purdue, you may contact an academic advisor in Nutrition Science at Purdue to discuss your
goals at: www.cfs.purdue.edu/fn/undergraduate/advising_planning.html.
