degree, for students who are interested in transferring into this degree in the College of Health &
Human Sciences at Purdue University-West Lafayette. You must consult with an academic advisor to
determine which courses should be chosen to receive the most credit at the receiving Purdue

Specific Degree Transfer Requirements:
Required GPA: 2.5
Additional requirements: The Athletic Training program at Purdue University is a four-year professional
program. Once at Purdue, students begin in Pre-Athletic Training in a fall semester and apply to the Athletic
Training program during the spring semester. If selected into the program, 14-15 students are selected each
year, the course and clinical sequences require an additional three years at Purdue West Lafayette for a total
of four years.






Actual transfer credit will not be posted until an official transcript has been received and processed by
the Office of Admissions.
Dual Credit courses taken in high school may not be transferable in all cases.
Courses taken online or via distance education may have equivalencies that are different than
courses taken in the classroom. Contact the Credit Evaluation Department if you have questions
about how an online course might transfer.
