Florida Gulf Coast University Testing Center Proctor Contact Sheet The following information is to be provided by the student, instructor or Testing Office of the home institution requesting proctoring services from FGCU. The fee is based on the maximum exam time permitted, as defined by your institution. Proctor fees are not pro-rated. The Testing Center reserves the right to review the exam prior to confirming a final test fee. It is the examinee’s responsibility to provide, in advance, all information regarding the test so that an appropriate fee can be set. Rescheduling If you schedule a day and time for your exam and you reschedule your appointment, there will be a $20 rescheduling fee ($25 as of July 1, 2016) in additional to the proctoring fee. Important Information No hats, sunglasses, wrist watches, food, drinks, cellular phones, electronic devices or coats/jackets are allowed in the testing room. Your test is given in strict accordance to instructions from the test sponsor/institution. Appointments are required for every test session and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments may only be made after we receive the test instructions and exam from your home institution. All seating is subject to availability. Proctoring services are provided as a community service. We cannot guarantee the accommodation of all exams or examinees. All instructions for the exam must be provided before the day of the exam. Once the above information is provided and the exam is received, the student will be contacted to schedule an appointment. Circumstances such as power outages, internet outages, outside noise, weather related emergencies, etc. are beyond the control of the Testing Center and may affect your exam. We will work with you and your institution to reach an agreeable decision in the event any unforeseen circumstances may arise.
