NACC Conference Parking Information
Unfortunately, parking is expensive in Philadelphia. Conference attendees are encouraged to use mass transit. If
you decide to drive, please review the parking information provided below and contact Dr. Sue Weber
(weberes@sas.upenn.edu ) if you have questions.
Directions for Drivers
For directions to Houston Hall (also known as part of Perlman Quad), go to the following web site. Note that the
South Street Bridge is closed.

Penn Parking
For visitors, the daily flat rate in Penn lots averages approximately $13.00. Lot 30 is nearest the conference
headquarters, Houston Hall.

15-passenger vans surpass the height restrictions of Penn’s Visitor parking structures. You will be able to park
in Penn’s Lot #1 (32nd and Walnut), but you will need to get a parking hanger in advance. If you e-mail your
van’s license plate number and state to Dr. Weber in advance of the conference, a parking hanger will be mailed
to you or available at the conference registration table. You will pay $26 in cash ($13/day) and receive a receipt
for the parking hanger at the registration table on 3/27.

 Located at 16th & Chestnut Streets
 Enter on 16th Street or 17th Street between Chestnut and Market Streets
 Rate is about $28 for 24 hours (when tickets are validated by CQ)
 Attended 24 hours

 15-minute loading across the street from CQ entrance
15-passenger vans surpass the Club Quarters parking garage height restriction. Club Quarters suggests parking
in the open-air lot on Samson Street between 16th and 17th Streets. The rate is about $25/overnight and the lot is
not attended. (Overnight parking in Penn’s Lot #1 is included in the conference-parking rate.)
