WAIT LIST PROCEDURES FOR SUMMER CLASSES
After classes begin, wait listed students can enroll in your class using permission
numbers. Permission numbers are numbers that are associated with a class and assigned
to students to use to enroll on or after the first day of class. Instructors will be issued
Permission Numbers (see attached) to give to students. Students can either enroll
themselves using Passport, or go to the Admissions &Records office.
Please use the following procedures to add wait listed students.
1.
You will be able to drop “No Shows” beginning June 21, 2010. Permissions
numbers can then be issued to wait listed students to enroll.
2.
You will find the names of the wait listed students on your class roster.
3.
Issue permission numbers only to students on the official wait list.
(1) Permission numbers override prerequisite checking so they should only be
issued to students on the wait list.
(2) The wait list process checks for prerequisites before adding a student to the
wait list.
Note: Permission numbers are valid through June 26, 2010. This is the last day to add
full-term credit classes.
