The faculty hiring prioritization was shared with the Merritt College Council during its meeting on
November 19, 2014. The classified hiring prioritization was shared with the College Council during its
meeting of January 28, 2015.
I’ve modified the above listing by breaking the tie between Fund 1 Faculty positions 2-4. Lastly, I
modified the ranking of the Classified by moving the .5 Duplicating Technicians II to number 2 position.
It may also be possible that classified position #5 Library Tech may move to number 3 if 50% funding is
secured via grant dollars.
