Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Examine conservation practices used to conserve environmental resources. Range three plant resources, one animal. Evidence requirements 1.1 Traditional conservation practices are examined and developed in a manner ensuring rites and customs are maintained. Range 1.2 rites and customs include but are not limited to – mauri, tapu, rāhui kaitiakitanga. Range 3.2 Alternative materials are selected in a manner ensuring sustainable management of stock. Range 3.3 natural, manufactured.
