Outcome 2 Describe codes of practice for professional bodies in New Zealand. Evidence requirements 2.1 The description identifies ethical issues for computer professionals found in the New Zealand Computer Society Code of Professional Conduct. 2.2 The description identifies general ethical issues for computer professionals in professional bodies codes of ethics. Range two other professional bodies eg Teachers Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants. Outcome 3 Describe professional relationships for computer professionals in New Zealand. Evidence requirements 3.1 The description distinguishes behaviour in professional relationships for a range of roles. roles may include but are not limited to three of – consultant, employee, manager, computer supplier, client, computer user, sales consultant. Behaviour includes both ethical and unethical behaviour for each of the three relationships. Range Outcome 4 Discuss the relevance of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi to computer professionals in New Zealand. Evidence requirements 4.1 The discussion outlines the implications of the Treaty of Waitangi for computer professionals. Range partnership, protection, participation. Evidence requirements 5.1 The discussion identifies the relevant Government legislation and outlines its purpose. 5.2 The discussion outlines the implications of the relevant legislation for computer professionals.
