Describe the maintenance, cleaning, and storage of abrasive blasting media.

Evidence requirements

3.1 Requirements for maintenance of abrasive blasting media are described in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures.

3.2 Storage of abrasive blasting media is described in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures.

3.3 The removal of contaminants for recycling, and the disposal of spent media are described in accordance with company procedures and local authority requirements.
