ISO 9001 refers to the ISO 9001 family of quality management documents for which companies gain specific accreditation. OHSAS 18001 refers to OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational health and safety management systems. Evidence requirements 1.1 The purposes and role of standards used for infrastructure works audits is explained. Range 1.2 standards may include – AS/NZS 4801, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001. Systems for meeting standards used for infrastructure works audits are described. Range systems may include but are not limited to – ACC WSMP, QEST, TQS; company specific; one system for each of – quality, health and safety, environment, temporary traffic management. 1.3 Accreditation requirements of a system used for infrastructure works audits are explained. 1.4 Differences between internal and external audits are described. 1.5 Individual responsibilities for types of audit are identified. Range 1.6 The application of different types of audit systems in an infrastructure works context is explained. Range 1.7 may include – checklists, procedures, reports, delivery dockets, meeting minutes. Audit system requirements for infrastructure works contracts are determined, and explained. Range 1.9 minimum of two audit systems. On-site and off-site documentation for infrastructure works audits is explained. Range 1.8 types – internal, preparatory, external. responsibilities, frequency, documentation, tests. Actions to address non-compliance audit points are recommended. Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that applies to those standards.
