Notes on the proposed schedule:
1. There are 15 lab sessions for each day of the week. This is accomplished by making Wednesday, October 13 a Monday;
Monday, December 6 at Wednesday; and Tuesday, December 7 a Thursday.
2. There are two University study days built in on December 8 and 9 (W and R) on which I assume we cannot have lab or
finals. Friday the 10th we could have lab but it would mess up the scheduling.
3. I would have liked to have had 14 lab days and a final, but that wasn’t feasible for all labs without having a period in the
semester in which during which we were going back and forth with lab setups and the Monday lab was two labs behind
the others each week. Thus each lab has 13 lab weeks and a final exam scheduled during the finals week in its final exam
time slot.
4. During the period of September 13 through October 11 there will have to be a switchover of experiment after the
Monday night lab before the Tuesday morning 7:30 am lab. We did this in the spring and it worked quite well. Becky
had the upcoming experiment laid out well and the setups I did on Monday night did not take long. Either the Monday
night instructor will have to switch over or the Tuesday morning instructor will need to get in a little early to set up.

Any of this can be changed however you want – just thought I would throw out a starting point.
