Career option – a potential means of livelihood such as a trade, profession, or other occupation. 3 Candidates must identify a minimum of two career options. Learning pathways and achievability (outcomes 2 and 3) must relate to the career options identified in outcome 1. 4 The following unit standard is relevant to and supports this unit standard: Unit 10781, Produce a plan for own future directions. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Investigate career options. Evidence requirements 1.1 Career options are identified in terms of personal interests, needs and wants. 1.2 Each career option is researched and described in terms of financial costs, time and commitment. Evidence requirements 3.1 Reflection provides conclusions on the achievability of each option in relation to own interests, needs, wants, commitment required.
