Date new versions published July 2011 Planned review date December 2016 Summary These unit standards were reviewed to determine their relevance for use in the scaffolding sector. OTTO’s ‘SRIT’ advisory group led the review process and approved the final drafts of the newly developed unit standards. Feedback on these unit standards was sought from stakeholders through representatives of interest groups such as candidates, employers, unions, training organisations, assessors, and also the national moderator for scaffolding. This review is part of an ongoing process to improve the relevance and quality of OTTO’s unit standards and qualifications in the Lifting Equipment subfield. Main changes Unit standards 4204-4211 were replaced with twelve newly developed unit standards. Five newly developed unit standards were registered to meet new industry requirements.
