repeated, to a maximum of 3 semester hours but only 15 semester hours may be applied toward a graduate
degree. IP/S/U grading. PRQ: Admission to Approval of the clinical training program.
Rationale: The new title better reflects the current term used for this course. Further, this course needs to
be able to be repeated to reflect students having multiple externship placements while pursuing their
graduate degree. Grading needs to be changed to reflect the ongoing nature of some of these experiences,
including performing work during the semester breaks (e.g., placements for the academic year that are
started in the fall term and are not completed until the spring semester).
654. PRACTICUM IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY PSYCHOTHERAPY (1-3). Supervised experience
in clinical assessment, psychotherapy, and supervision of less advanced trainees during the provision of
clinical services planning and executing a therapeutic program with clients who have sought help for
adjustment and personality psychological problems. May be repeated, but only 15 semester hours may be
applied toward a graduate degree in psychology. IP/S/U grading. PRQ: Approval of the clinical training
area.
