Blue, Department of Geography The minor in international studies global studies offers students the opportunity to acquire a strong international global focus for their program of studies. Such an international a global focus is important for making students competitive in the increasingly globalized economy and society. The international studies global studies minor is open to students in all disciplines and fields and is appropriate for students planning careers in business, government, foreign service, social science teaching at the secondary level, and law, or graduate study in international studies or a related discipline. It may be especially useful for business, foreign language, and journalism students wishing to supplement their credentials.
