Preparation for Application Exercises
(OPTIONAL—but **some form of notes required**)
To prepare for each team application exercise, in addition to reviewing the assigned primary source(s) in depth,
you must bring a page of examples to class which addresses the stated focus of the exercise. Only students with a
full page of examples will receive full credit for a given team assignment; others will receive half credit.
I recommend that you use the framework below, handwriting or typing responses according to preference. Even if
you mark relevant examples primarily with notes in the margins of your source, you should create at least a brief
list of relevant passages with page numbers. NOTE: if more than three examples are requested, add extra box(es).
