1. Compose the 1-2 sentence statement that specifies most precisely the significance of all three terms
in relation to one another, especially as elucidated in secondary sources. You should make clear in your
own words to what each term refers, but must also go beyond simply listing the meaning of each term.
2. List three (3) excerpts from different thirds of one primary source from the Unit 1, each of which
supports the statement presented in #1 above. The significance of each term should be reflected in at
least one excerpt, though the excerpts need not mention the terms explicitly.
