Enrollment in FACS 195C requires a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and must be set up a semester in advance through consultation with an advisor in Family Studies. FACS 156: Child Life and Family-centered Care is required by the Child Life Council for those pursuing the Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS). Prerequisite for this course is a course in child development that covers birth through adolescence.
