Please look at all activities in each lesson and teach those that are aligned to the Measurement and Data and Geometry Standards. The standard of classification should first be taught focusing on categories and sorting in Instructional Block 1. Counting the number of objects in each category and comparing the numbers in each category (more/less, most/least, NOT how many more) should be added in Instructional Block 2 after students have further developed their number sense with numbers 1-10.
