Cinahl with Full Text
Welcome to the Library screencast which details how to find journal articles using CINAHL
with FT.
To access CINAHL with Full Text first of all you need to navigate to the resource on the
Library website. Click on Resources by Subject and then Health Studies, scroll down the
page and you will come to CINAHL with Full Text. Click on the resource title.
As I am on the university network it has let me straight into the resource, but off-campus you
may be prompted to enter your university of Bolton username and password and then the
resource page will load. If you have any problems accessing the resource please contact
the subject help desk.
In this example I am looking for articles on saline and wound care. You can enter your
search here (basic search box) or use the advance search field as I have done. When
entering search terms, if you have a phrase and enter it in speech marks your search will
become more effective.
Here are my initial set of results, next to each result, you will see an option for Full Text PDF
or check article availability. If it has PDF it means we get that article from CINAHL so you
can view it instantly. If it states check article availability click on the link for available options.
If I want to refine my results further, I can narrow by publication, For example I could limit
my results to British Journal of Nursing. If you need any further help or assistance you can
