Overview: The purpose of this state-funded grant program is to provide continued support of a parent
engagement program and implement a supplemental science program in Randolph Public Schools.
Continuation of a Parent Engagement Program and Implementation of a Supplemental Science
Program, Randolph Public Schools
Part 1: Background and Plans for Fund Use
1. Describe the progress that has been achieved toward accomplishing the goals of the
Parent Engagement Program, including data
2. Describe the goals, objectives, activities, and anticipated outcomes of both the Parent
Engagement and the supplemental science programs, including how they will support and
align with core instructional programs and impact student engagement
3. Describe how the programs align with Randolph’s Accelerated Improvement Plan
4.
Describe how the supplemental science program will help to implement or transition to
developing the science and engineering priorities in the revised science standards that the
Department anticipates adopting this fall
Part 2: Accountability
1. Describe how progress will be identified and monitored in both the parent engagement
and supplemental science programs, including early evidence of change, intermediate
benchmarks, and long-term evidence of success, and the use of formative and/or
summative data and assessments to determine the impact and success of these programs
as well as opportunities for program improvements along the way
2. Describe any other funding sources supporting these programs
3. Describe plans for sustainability
