TRANSCRIPT

Oh hi there!

If you don’t already know my name is Joanne and you’ve signed yourself up to come on an adventure with me.

So for today I’ve decided that I’m going to show you guys what’s in my bag. And this is not any ordinary bag its my uni bag.

Ok, so first off we’ve just got the boring old ordinary stuff like my keys. I’ve got a storm trooper and darth vadar to protect me .. not that I really need any protecting. And also my phone. Now this is the mother of all phones, I know its ginormous! But its awesome because its got a perfect planner inside. I can keep track of meetings I might have with co-ordinators/lecturers. And this way I can easily juggle work and uni.

One other really nifty feature that I’ve got on my phone that you can get if you’ve got an iPhone or an android phone is the Lost On Campus app. Its so good because you can either navigate to where you want to go using the map or you can search up a place like a lecture theatre or a lecture room and its just so good because once in a while I might be working at some really obscure place or you know I might just want to go explore so this is perfect.

So not everyone is going have a mega big phone like I do but I also a diary a school diary.*

Inside the student union diary, there is an A-Z guide on what you need to know about uni, this is a life saver even though I’ve been here for three years.

Theres also an awesome timetable at the back. And this way I can keep track of when and where my tutorials and lectures are!

What else have I got? A bike lock. Not very often but sometimes I might decide to be super healthy and I’ll ride my bike to the station, get on the train with my bike and then get off and ride to uni. And there’s tonnes of places to lock your bike up at uni.

Next I’ve got my exercise book. Every student needs an exercise book! I’ve decided to go with the one with heaps of tabs just because I know I’m going to forget or choose the wrong exercise book and pick it up before I go to class. So

this one’s really handy. I just have one book I keep track of and its got all my four subjects inside.

Ok so one other thing in my bag is my trusty wallet. You cannot forget your wallet because in my wallet I keep my student ID which is essential for printing and if you’re a student union member it is essential for getting those perks that the um membership comes with.

And of course I’ve got my glasses.* The Agora Theatre can hold up to 450 students so if I come late I might be way at the back and these definitely come in handy. This is what they look like. I am a mega nerd, I know.

Well that’s pretty much all that was in my bag. Um, other than little bits of fluff and chewing gum wrappers, that was the contents of my bag. Thank you so much for watching and I hope to see you at the next video! Bye!
