Major Project Two: Political Cartoon 1. Students will analyze various current events through the creation of a political cartoon. 2. Students will demonstrate media bias through the publication of said cartoon. 3. Students will represent traditional media and technological trends in media through the creation of said cartoon in Alice 2.2 (Adventures in Programming) 4. The desired outcome is an animated cartoon, which analyzes a political or governmental current event, as a media outlet might produce, for publication. Directions: 1. Using Alice 2.2 create an animated cartoon that analyzes a current political or governmental event. 2. The animated cartoon must be at least 1minute in length and no longer than 3 minutes. 3. The cartoon must have at least 3 and no more than 10 scenes. 4. The cartoon must use a minimum of 5 and maximum of 20 billboards 5. The cartoon must contain sound but have no narration(typed) 6. The cartoon must be export to QuickTime format, to be turned in. 7.
