Instructional Goal: Prepare students for their computer test by making sure they understand
the various parts of the computer and the purposes of each item.
Performance Objective: Students in the 6th grade will be able to demonstrate an understanding of
terms through techniques learned by creating a storybook using Alice
presentation (multimedia), and presenting their stories to classmates for a
90% clarification of the terms.

Teacher Procedure:

Present steps on creating an Alice presentation using projector
attached to desktop computer.
Show Alice example – Knowing about computers
Teach students how to create:
o Worlds
o Add objects
o Use and create methods, properties, and functions
o Implementing loops
Assist students as needed on an individual basis.


Write a story using terms in a presentation.
Write questions and answers.


