The Orlando Institute Equipping Leaders to Disciple the Nations Our goal is to equip leaders to build spiritual movements. To do this we have created two parts. The first part is the ministry training, which is included on this site. The second part is biblical training, for which syllabi are included on the Training Resources site. This page will give an overview of the ministry training. The goals of ministry training are to help the leader: 1) know the skills of personal ministry so they can be applied in all personal and ministry issues, 2) think in biblical terms about ministry and cultural issues, and 3) gain a deeper commitment to living in submission to God’s Word. To accomplish these goals we teach six classes: Evangelism Discipleship Leading Groups Leading Spiritual Movements Communications Missions Each class has 24 hours of content and 45 hours of homework or personal application. The attitudes of the teacher and the students are very important. You are studying God’s Word and deepening your commitment to live biblically in a way that is usually never duplicated. Seek the Lord’s blessing in every class session. The syllabi are included as examples. The completion of the first four classes entitles a person to a Great Commission Training Center Certificate. It will provide a knowledge and ability to minister from the Bible which cannot be done with ministry skills alone. May God bless your efforts. Sincerely, Stephen M.
