Format of the course: Everyone is expected to take an active part in the course, and class participation will be a portion of the final grade. Please complete all reading material and assignments before coming to class so we can make the most of our one hour meeting time. There is only one class a week and consequentially ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED! Missing class will result in lost points on your final grade. Participation………………………………………………………………….15% You are expected to contribute to class discussions and activities Homework/Journals……………………………………………………….30% Complete all reading assignments and homework before class. Each week you will need to write a journal entry and email it to me prior to the next class meeting. Student Activity………………………………………………………………15% To help you integrate into the campus community and become a contributing member, you are required to join one of the clubs and organizations that have registered with Office of Student Activities by the end of the semester. Red Ticket Events……………………………………………………………15% You are expected to attend six functions on campus from the list of Red Ticket Events. You can also attend other campus functions for extra credit.
