I. Meeting called to order by L. Shanks at 5:10 pm.

II. Minutes of October 26, 2015 distributed to those present.

III. Treasurer’s Report
III. Treasurer’s report given by K. Rose to L. Shanks and it was distributed. The catering
for the October program at AGMC has been paid. Checks are being received for the
Christmas baskets for families at Open-M.

B. Membership
B. G. Kabb-LangKamp reported that there were 451 active members. A questionnaire
had been sent to 90 members. Thirty two responded to the questionnaire. The following
information was reported:
1) More information is needed prior to joining
2) More contact is needed from local chapter
3) 84% did not participate in activities
4) More information is wanted on graduate programs
5) Would like a mentoring program
2016 Chapter induction sent for 4/10/2016. The Chapter induction program has been
saved on a jump drive.

C. Program
C. L. Hart reported that a possible joint program is being developed with the chapter at
Kent State University. The Box Glove Canyon play is being considered. Other possible
programming includes:
1) Having schools with graduate programs present/or have at table at events and share
information on their specific programs.
2) Have Delta Omega funded “researchers” present on their project and findings.
3) Program on Mentoring
4) Kathleen Scott – can present on OBN rules and the law; looking at a March 2016 date.
C. Sutter and G. KabbLangKamp arranging for
space at the Student
Center.
Spring program looking at a speaker from OSU (Lynn Gallagher Ford) present on
evidence based learning.

D. Just received information from International regarding any by-law update.

E. Treasurer’s report sent electronically. No other updates.

G. The newsletter is about to be published. Needs the time for lunch at Open-M.
V. Biennial Convention-B.

V. A report is being submitted to be published in newsletter.
1) An update was given on the governance changes
2) A third model was added for forming a new chapter. There is an At Large Chapter for
options with practice settings.
3) Delta Omega was one of the two chapters in the world with 12 Key awards.
4) We need to structure out strategic plan with SSTI initiatives. The new initiatives
impact how keys are awarded to clubs.

A. Bag lunches have been taken to Open-M today for distribution. Thank you G. KabbLangKamp and K. Rose. The hot lunch is scheduled for 1/29/2016. Volunteers will be
requested from membership to assist with Sloppy Joe lunch.

9:00-12:00.
A. There are no bag
lunches in December.

B. Gift cards and gifts need to be taken to Open-M by 12/7/2015; gift cards cannot be
used for alcohol; need wrapping paper also.

A. The 2015-2016 form needs to be submitted by 2/26/2016. The cost for renewal is
$444.00.
