Receiving guests
• When guests arrive at the restaurant, it is very important
to create a good impression right from the start.
Therefore, the staff member in charge of receiving them
must convey the image of the restaurant through
appropriate words (which are highly conventionalized)
and attitude (which must be polite and helpful at all
times).
