Teaching Tools and Tips: Quizlet – A Portable Study Tool By Amy Fuglestad, Spanish Instructor Introduction Students are expected to learn new terms and concepts all of the time, no matter the subject area. As a language teacher I am constantly asking students to study and learn new vocabulary. One method to do that is to use flash cards. They are a useful tool for language acquisition -old fashioned – but useful! So how do we get today’s technology savvy students to use flash cards? Quizlet is the answer! It can be used anytime, anyplace! Tool Identification Quizlet is a free website that allows teachers and students to create and use study sets. The study sets may be used as flash cards, interactive games, and quizzes that are automatically assessed for instant feedback. Quizlet is a study tool that can be used in and out of the classroom, on computers, tablets and smartphones. Tool Location Quizlet.com Tool Usage Create a free account.
