Review Guidelines
Summary
This review is designed to quickly touch base with both the supervisor and the new hire after the
employee has had a chance to become oriented, but prior to the end of the 90-day new hire
probation. We want to ensure that the employee feels welcomed, trained and prepared for
success as well as check with the supervisor to ensure that the employee is meeting
expectations. If for any reason, the employee is not meeting expectations it should be surfaced
as part of this discussion. Please answer the questions below, then save the form and send it as
an attachment to Human Resources at humanres@messiah.edu. We will be contacting the new
hire separately.
Purpose:




To ensure that the new hire has received appropriate communications, training,
supervision and coaching in order to begin their new role successfully
To surface concerns about the new hire’s transition to working in the new position
To confirm that the job fit is, in fact, as appropriate as the interview process would
suggest
To continue a relationship between the new hire, the supervisor and HR
