INSTRUCTIONS: Use the following chart to provide detail on the instructional activities for your course. The
worksheet should include all activities that are part of the semester’s course. Please provide a brief explanation
of each listed activities. Learning hours should be calculated based on the total time required for an average
student to complete the assigned work over the course of the semester. A completed version of this form should
be submitted to the program Director/Convenor with each semester’s course syllabi for collection by the Dean’s
Office.
NOTE: According to Drew’s definition of a credit hour, a total of 135 hours of in and out of class work should
be expected in a three credit graduate course (45 total hours per credit assigned).
