Final Draft Grading Rubric
Directions: The final draft should consist of 6 paragraphs: introduction (with a strong thesis as the last
sentence of the introductory paragraph), background information, three body paragraphs defending the
reasons for taking your position in your thesis statement, and a conclusion. Please remember that
paragraphs in this class are 5-7 sentences long. The final draft can be typed or hand written and is due
10/20 for a test/major grade.
