5. Begin 9.5 Notes: Show how to factor a trinomial. Do example 1 on p. 583.
6. Guided Practice p. 583 # 1 – 3.

Assessment Methods: Check answers to guided practice.
Checks for Understanding: go over quiz.

Materials: spiral notes, textbook section 9.4 & 9.5, pencil.
