Learning Activities: Activities for Objectives #1 and #2 : The class as a whole will review for Inference and Point of View QUIZ WEDNESDAY (1/14/15) AND THURSDAY (1/15/15). Students will learn the following academic vocabulary to prepare for the story “The Scarlet Ibis” which they will begin reading next week: context, interpret, reveal, Significant, and tradition. Wed/Thur How will we learn it? Students will work with short passages to determine theme. Students will work with unknown vocabulary in sentences to use context clues to define the unknown word.
