Lesson Plans 9th Week – October 20 – October 24 Please note: I make my lesson plans extensive and with high expectations. If the students are struggling and things do not go as quickly as planned, I scale back. You may see activities that I planned for last week have been moved to the current week to accommodate the pace of my learners. Major Objectives: Writing & Writing Mechanics Students will write simple and compound sentences. Students will write a paragraph about “Thank You, Ma’m” using the SLAM method. Students are working with Greek and Latin root words, prefixes, and suffixes. This week, we will finish the root word man, manu (hand). Quiz over these words will be TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21.
