2. Students will relate to the main ideas found in the literary work “The Crucible” by
Arthur Miller specifically in ACT 2 (13 pgs.)

Assessment Methods: Students will be completing Vocabulary Quiz 9 and engaging in an in
class reading
Checks for Understanding: Quiz Assessment. Students will be called upon (cold called)
throughout the reading in order to make sure they are making complex inferences.

Materials: Pen/Pencil, English Literature Book, and Vocabulary Folder
